It's time to get Wii Fit. My 30 Days of Wii Fit experiment starts tonight - in fact in about 10 minutes. I'm actually challenging Dr Reid as he will run for the same amount of time that I play wii fit each day. We will compare results as we go !
Paradise in Bali came at a small cost - 5lbs, or if I go back to the weight I was before I left on vacation about 3lbs. I guess for 3 weeks holiday that isn't too bad. Time to attack the 200lbs mark again over the next two weeks.
Hey Nigel, thanks for the motivational support on my page. Seems like you are doing ok as well. I am still trying to control my wait but my Doctor said that it was normal that I oscillate a bit due to my high-blood pressure pills and what not.
Amazing - I've been stomping around Oz and Bali now for just over 2 weeks and Ive found myself a set of scales. We tested them with Nicola and they look to be accurate. The great news is I aint put any weight on during the past 2 weeks. Gotta be careful this week though as its a week of laying by the pool and getting waited on hand and foot.
I've also updated a new goal - in the low 180s. I know thats going to be one hell of a plan to stick to but heck why not ! Here we go again !
Another trip to Houston and a few lbs put back on again .. but again not too many. Now Ive got just under 5 days to loose those last 2lbs before the Oz trip and that will be goal weight number 1 achieved !
Goodness me 10lbs lost since I started this on 3rd Jan 2008 - I actually joined last year and did this weight loss thing for about 3 weeks, during which I lost the other 4lbs. I guess this means that I've lost 1 stone since January 2006, which isn't great, but then 10lbs in one month is awsome.
Yes I know this will slow down, but I'm not concerned. For me this was never about fast weight loss. I'm happy with 1 or 2lbs every week. Looks like I've got 2lbs to go to meet my initial weight target of 200lbs. Once I hit this I'll be thinking about a new target. Somwhere in the 180s ?
A week in Houston and I've gained 3lbs .. I had kinda expected to gain some so not too bad. Hopefully put in a good week this week to knock it all off again !
Right now I'm over in Houston so I won't be stepping on a set of scales until I get back to the UK, on Saturday. It's pretty tough to stick to under 2000 calories over here but I'm trying. I've said if I put on 2-3lbs then that's okay over here. It will be a bit of a set back but hopefully only a minor one.
So today I see myself entering the 3rd week and to date ive lost 7lbs (thats half a stone) Above my logs actually say 11lbs but thats actually picking up weight when i first logged into traineo over a year ago (2007 was a write-off) Still though given I was at one point 11lbs heavier then that also is an achievement.
5lbs to go, and 39 days (or just over 5 weeks to) which is actually 1lb a week. Perhaps I should re-evaluate my initial goal of 200lbs and go for 196lbs? Okay perhaps not, as I think that was my issue before, pushing myself too much. I know at some point soon the weight loss will become more gradual, which is what I want, but still stepping on the scales this morning and see 14st 9lbs was glorious!
Oh my goodness me .. stepped on the scales this morning and was 207lbs, which for the first time since I can remember puts me in the overweight (rather than obese) category.
This was one of my first mini goals that I set myself and I've achived it in under 2 weeks.
I'm pleased how things are going so far, however I need to be more planned in my meal plans - or I can see myself getting very bored with baked potatoe and tuna ...
1 more lb and I'll be half way to my initial target weight of 200lbs which of course would also be the lighest I've been in around 5 years.
Really trying hard over the next few weeks to loose at least 5lbs as of course in 2 weeks time I'll be on my summer holiday - never a good time to loose weight. Hoping I can be reasonably good ...
Not a bad start at all - It is that time of year when I'm meant to be setting good objectives for me and my group and we constantly are plagued with trying to make them 'SMART' Specific, Measurable, Acheivable, Realistic and Time limited.
I think the only things you are missing is a time when you want to hit your target weight by (and it might help to specify a reward you'll give yourself if you get there).
Wish me luck !

We weigh about the same.. IMHO you need to target even more weight lose. Maybe later on!

I remember that day, that was a wonderful celebration! I never thought I would be that happy to be overweight :)
Keep it up!

Fingers crossed and all that !

I think if I don't manage to keep this up this year then I'm doomed to being a fat arse all my life ... and I refuse to let that happen.

I hope you found a solution to your traveling diet :)
Good luck man, you have just about the same amount as I am trying to get rid of.
